Raheja Residency Apartment Owners Apex Association Keep common areas clean: It is observed that old tyres, packing material, building rubble, old tube light etc are being discarded in the common areas. Similarly residents carrying out renovation and repairs to their apartments are also storing materials like bricks and sand in the common areas . This is not permissible as itt gives a shabby appearance to the whole complex. Moreover items like rubble ,old tube lights, tyres and packing materials are not considered as garbage and is therefore not lifted by the garbage truck employed to collect and remove the garbage on a daily basis. This results in such items accumulating in the common areas which is objected to by the residents and is also drawing adverse comments from visitors to the complex. The Apex Body considered the matter and has decided as under: The common areas should be kept totally free. Building material and rubble should be stored within the apartment and the rubble disposed off personally by the resident. Discarding of material like old tyres, tubelights, packing material will not be permitted and will invite strict penal action. Resident who intend to keep building material or rubble in the common areas will have to deposit in advance a sum of Rs. 500/- with the Manager Apex Body. Even thereafter the building material/rubble should be properly packed in gunny bags before being placed in the common areas and such packed gunny bags should be removed withing 6 days from the common areas failing which penal action/fine will be imposed.
